Project Description
An app that unify resources and provide a streamlined experience for journalists to easily access resources relating to online risk.
A wide array of online resources exist for journalists to navigate online risk and digital security, including but not limited to tip sheets, checklists, how-to videos and other training materials created by the Committee to Protect Journalists, the International Women’s Media Foundation, the Freedom of the Press Foundation, and the Coalition Against Online Violence. Currently these resources are spread among various different websites.
Our app seeks to unify these resources and provide a streamlined experience for users to easily access resources relating to online risk. The cornerstone of our app is an interactive chat bot, which users can ask questions, and it will provide users with resources that are applicable to their query. The app will also have the ability for users to manually navigate resources as well to help them find different content relating to online risks in journalism.
