Here are some local resources available for the community.

Ottawa Public Health

The Ottawa Public Health offers a wide variety of community resources to promote health and safety within the community. These resources range from safe injection sites, mental health services, sexual and birth services, and more. 

Ottawa World Skills

The Ottawa World Skills is a Newcomers based resource that offers services ranging from housing, mental health, legal assistance, and more. All these services are free of charge for newcomers, refugees and immigrants. 

Volunteer Ottawa

Founded in 1957, Volunteer Ottawa is a volunteering service that promotes community within volunteering. It partners with other non-profit organizations to build sense of community in Ottawa.

Youth Services Jeunesse

Ottawa based youth services that offers various services. They are a part of the Youth Services Bureau (YSB). Their mission is to provide safe non-judgmental environment for youth. Some of the services they provide are youth homelessness prevention, employment services, and more. 

City of Ottawa

The city of Ottawa offers a wide-range of community resources, ranging from projects and innovations around the city, to city budgets. It also offers forums to engage (Engage Ottawa) with the community and share their experiences/ideas within the community. 

Kind Space

Kind Space Ottawa is a 2SLGTQ+ communities based resource. They offer several programs for people who identify within that community. Some of the services offered range from social events to education programs. 

Canadian Civic Literacy

Municipal System
