They serve 33 First Nation communities in the Sioux Lookout region of Ontario, Canada.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Zine Project is an online presence that encourages the creation of zines to boost Indigenous youth mental health. We accomplish this by publishing zines, promoting zine-making workshops, and sharing fun and engaging information about the world of zines and how to get started. Following a laissez-faire style inspired by a sketchbook, The Zine Project aims to be a friendly and accessible resource that promotes self-discovery and expression through art.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This project aims to be a safe space for Indigenous youth to explore their thoughts and emotions. We hope to introduce zine-making as an outlet for them to let go, let loose, and express themselves without being confined to a box.
