Arrival

Description

We are developing a workshop to support the Arrival Initiative, a project that connects the community by interviewing people who have migrated to Arnprior within the last 50 years. The workshop will provide participants with the skills needed to collect interviews with individuals who have migrated to Arnprior and transform those interviews into an exhibit of edited video recordings paired with physical artifacts. 

The initiative’s goal is to foster community engagement, preserve local history, and allow the people of Arnprior to tell their own stories. The project will be submitted for grant approval in the fall, and if funding is granted, the final exhibit will be featured in the museum in 2027–2028.
