Ottawa’s Transpo Plan

Description

Ontario Regulation 588/17 requires municipalities to plan how they will manage assets over a ten-year period while balancing cost, risk, and service levels. The City’s Transportation Asset Management Plan fulfills this requirement by outlining what transportation assets are owned, how they are performing, and what is needed to keep them serving residents into the future.

These plans are often highly technical and data-dense, which can limit their accessibility to the general public. Our project addresses this gap by translating complex asset management information into an animated video, providing clearer and more accessible materials that support public understanding and engagement.
