Ontario’s new law, the Bill 5–Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, is a crucial piece of legislation that poses severe risks to our environment, Ontario’s ecosystems, Indigenous communities, and the liberties of Ontario’s residents. 

Our short film and social media series, The Withering Trillium: From Legislation to Devastation, will highlight Bill 5 and its consequences, showing how it is more than just about protecting our environment; it’s also about maintaining our liberties and why people should care about it.

Our goal is to inspire and empower individuals to become informed advocates for sustainable change, ensuring that climate communication translates into meaningful action across Ontario, and potentially across Canada.
