Mary Ann Shadd Cary Centre for Journalism and Belonging
PROJECT DETAILS
“There is a lack of diversity in the field of journalism and through this Capstone project, the goal is to elevate and uplift Black voices to inspire others through storytelling.”
For our Capstone Project, our team designed a booklet and website for The Mary Ann Shadd Cary Centre Fellowship for Black Journalists. The booklet, intended for the program’s funders, highlights the fellowship’s positive impact on Black journalists in Canada. Complementing this, the website will serve as both a digital version of the booklet and a multimedia archive, preserving and showcasing the experiences of fellowship participants.
