“Share and be aware, don’t hate, just care.”

Our project, The Kindness Quest: An Adventure to End Hate, is an interactive visual website designed to educate and raise awareness about hate crimes in Ottawa. Developed in response to our client’s request for an educational initiative, the platform is tailored for young audiences aged 8 to 12, presenting this serious topic in a child-friendly and engaging way.

Using a human-centered accessibility design, the website ensures that younger users can easily navigate and absorb the information. It consists of four themed pages, each structured as a storytelling experience. To encourage active engagement, key details and clues are hidden within the content, allowing users to interact with the material in a meaningful way. These clues culminate in a final quiz challenge, reinforcing the educational purpose of the platform while making learning both immersive and impactful.
